The pitch is on an uneven, low-lying lawn, so you can't see the boats sailing by. There's only one shower, the key for which you have to get from the manager. There's only one men's toilet and one women's toilet. There's no Wi-Fi, and the chemical toilet couldn't be emptied. There's no water tap nearby. Temporary electricity is provided via an extension cord from the shed and a standard plug connection.

Almost four stars, if he's into airplanes. They're quite prominent, though. Otherwise, a great spot and a very friendly reception. You can stay all day on the day of departure, which is great.

We stayed at the site for three nights and loved it. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature among rabbits, cows, and ducks. It's a great starting point for bike rides and hikes along the Zij. Nice location on the way to Leiden, and the option to take a ferry to Warmond with your bike. Boat tours can be booked nearby. And with the great weather, there were so many small boats out and about. We'll be back!!
