Camping Duin en Strand

Great campsite, the sanitary facilities could be better, but we were there outside of peak season. Everything else was there. Unfortunately, you need tokens for the shower at €1.50 for 5 minutes. We didn't think that was necessary when you pay €92 for 3 nights, including a dog and 2 people. The Wi-Fi is really bad, even during this quiet period. However, the staff is very friendly and always up for a chat.

The price online was €25, but we paid €43.50 for 2 people and 2 small dogs for 1 night. OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Camping should be enjoyable and relaxing. There wasn't even a drain plug for washing dishes, and NO HOT water. Not for us anymore.

We didn't find anyone there upon arrival. But it wasn't a big deal. We got in without any problems using our license plate number. The site is right on the main road. I can't recommend this site in August. It's very crowded. The restrooms and showers looked the part! Otherwise, they weren't too bad. I don't think the site is great! We won't be back again. But everyone has their own opinion.
