A very beautiful spot by the lake, right on the edge of Mavrovo, with a view of the submerged church. There are waste containers (which, in keeping with common Macedonian custom, are unfortunately ignored) and a number of portable toilets. When we were there, the Carp Fishing World Championship was taking place right on our doorstep, yet it is very quiet. Several shaded spots. There is plenty of space, though the access road is a bumpy dirt track. Fine in dry weather….
