If you drive a bit further, all the way to the back, you come to a beautiful spot by the river and feel like you are the only person in the world. That is, if you ignore the cars on the road across the way. We didn't find them bothersome. We stayed here for two nights and saw a moose every morning and evening. Payment is 100 crowns per night, placed in an envelope in the mailbox.

We didn't stay there because there were too many horseflies that wouldn't leave us alone. It's a nice location, though. It's no longer free; the new owners, as of June 25th, are asking for 100 kroner. It's a difficult walk from here.

Several beautiful places at brook. If you prefer not to hear running water about 150-200 further away from the bridge. Later in the evening twilight chance that you see elk.
