Fantastic place to stay overnight. No other facilities, but that's not necessary with such a beautiful view. Wonderfully quiet in the evening after everyone has left, and also a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. We were there with about eight campers, and it was manageable. We headed straight up the mountain in the morning.

Nice place to stay overnight. This is the starting point of the trail to Gaustatoppen. About 4 km towards Rjukan is also a camper place. From this place a small train goes to the top (through a tunnel), but I recommend the walking route.

Prohibited for motorhomes. According to the parking attendant, the municipality has decided that it is not allowed to spend the night in this car park. Signs will be put up.
