First Camp Lunde – Telemark is located right by Lunde Lock, in the heart of the Telemark Canal. Here, you’ll find spacious pitches with electricity for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. You can rent canoes, kayaks, and bicycles, and get great tips for exciting nature experiences along the canal. The campsite offers more than 200 pitches, spread across different areas – some with grass, others with a combination of gravel and grass.
The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, and you are within walking and cycling distance of restaurants, Lunde Lock, a bus stop, a train station, and shops in Lunde town center.

Large, well-maintained campsite. Everything was well organized and the pitches were large.

Exceptionally clean campsite. Excellent sanitary facilities and very clean. It is, however, a strict campsite with strict rules regarding camper pitches and the number of sanitary facilities (all very efficient and no more than necessary). The pitch determines the price. It's also an excellent base for the famous lock complex. And definitely rent a canoe...the tributary gave us the gift of an otter, a beaver, and a moose (be very quiet, especially in the evenings).

Nice place, good bathroom facilities, But... almost twice as expensive as advertised in the app, 590 NOK per night. Upon inquiry, they asked why the price wasn't as advertised. Response: They are not responsible for what's advertised in the app.
