Camping Buczyniec

It was nice to stand there for a change and see the boats being hoisted. You can take a boat tour with them; it lasts at least 3 hours. We didn't do that. The toilet and shower were mediocre; they weren't cleaned here on the weekend and it was quite busy, so they got dirty quickly. The water was also on the lukewarm side. A restaurant is opening here in about 6 weeks. That could certainly be of added value. We paid 120 PLN per night without electricity, for 2 people.

You have to park the camper right in front of the barrier, then it opens automatically. There is no one else present. The owner comes to collect the money in the evening or morning: 140 zlotys for a 2-person camper and electricity. Wi-Fi is good. We found the 3-hour boat ride to be too long and a bit boring. But staying there is nice.

For us, this is an absolutely fantastic spot right on the Oberland Canal; you can watch the ships being pulled up the hill. It's completely peaceful. On the second day, it was a bit busier, so three toilets and three showers could be a bit tight. However, the owner explained that another washroom building will be added.
