There is no place left here for people who travel. They have all been taken over by Portuguese with their campers. There are those who have flower boxes in front of their camper and most of them were closed. So people don't drive petrol, there is no room anyway.

Remarkable, this place. Free electricity and water, waste water and toilet emptying and garbage containers available. Maybe a bit run down, the community doesn't do much for the upkeep. But what more could you ask for if it doesn't cost anything? From the train station in town there is a bus to Coimbra every hour, return €4.80. The route takes less than half an hour. The village doesn't have much to offer, but there is good cycling in the area.
