Call before you go here! We drove there for a while. The gate is closed and it doesn't look like it's still in use.

We wanted to arrive today on the afternoon of May 17, 2025, but the access road was closed shortly before our destination!

What a lovely place in the middle of nature! At first we were going to stay one night but it became 2. After the warm welcome from Martijn and Cristina we chose a spot at the front by the river. The next day we visited the beautiful town of Alte; very charming! Back at the campsite we took a refreshing dip in the ice-cold water of the river. We enjoyed this beautiful place in the middle of nature!

Information
Camperpark-Paderne is an Off Grid camper site without electricity and water. In the middle of a beautiful nature reserve, just outside the town of beautiful Paderne where you can enjoy a delicious meal or have a drink on a terrace. You can walk or cycle endlessly between the orange fields that you see a lot there. From this unique location you are in the heart of the Algarve and you have endless options to make nice trips and visit beautiful locations. See the attached map of the region! Please note! For most of the year it concerns a contactless registration / check-in. It is better not to arrive in the dark, this because there is no lighting in the nature reserve! For information we can always be reached on telephone number: 0642233565 or 0683901455 The Portuguese and Dutch owners are partly present and welcome you! 5 kilometers from the camper site is the Intermarché supermarket in Ferreras. Here are all the amenities you need, such as: groceries, laundromat and camper/car wash, filling up with petrol, and importantly emptying your waste water and cassette from the camper.
