A golden tip is to first drive to Gouveia and then take the road to the campsite, otherwise you will go through villages where it is actually impossible to drive with a camper
lees meerA nice campsite high on the edge of the beautiful Serra da Estrela. Free places, with or without shade. Spacious and clean sanitary facilities with hot showers. Beautiful walk from the campsite (and even more in the area). And an extremely friendly owner. Hospitable, passionate, helpful. We had a few nice days there.
lees meerIt was 4 days of enjoying the area, both walking and cycling. Wonderfully quiet, you hardly meet anyone. Lionel can talk very enthusiastically about the area and what beautiful routes are. Also enjoyed the beautiful sunset. We will definitely come back someday.
