Areas Sao Pedro

Parking only. We stayed here with about 10 campers and stayed overnight in early October. Police patrolled, but no one said anything.

We spent the night here from 27-07-2023 to 28-07-2023. When we arrived at the end of the afternoon there were 2 campers, this morning there were 10, 7 of which with a Portuguese license plate. The small road to the restaurant on the beach coincides with the entrance to the car park. the stopping prohibition for campers applies to the road to the restaurant! No sign of a ban on the P itself.

my friends, according to portuguese law, it is not allowed to park or stay overnight on these beaches. The fine is at least €120 if we pay it straight away but it can go up to €600. I found out the hard way...
