Camping The Valley

We wanted to visit this campsite. We drove for hours at walking pace over roads with deep holes, finally came to a large area where there was only sand instead of road. Then we discovered an inconspicuous sign: Campground and struggled through the sand to read: Campground closed. And then the horrible road back again.

A very nice place with very nice managers, who even lend their walking sticks to walk safely. The plumbing is old but ok. Work is underway on the road to the campsite. It's worth continuing. Joop and Bernadette

The approach route is a few kilometers of field road. Requires some perseverance if it has rained. Plumbing is outdated. The environment is beautiful. Bears live in the forest, but they are kept at a distance by the dogs at night. Beautiful for walking.
