Camping Pastravul

Excellent campsite. Excellent sanitary facilities. The cost is 100 Lei. Very reasonable.

A wonderfully quiet and spacious campsite, where we stayed for a few days. A great base for visiting Sighetu and Sapanta and the surrounding area. Check-in and payment are at the guesthouse/restaurant across the street. It turns out the campsite is part of this. The sanitary facilities are clean and fairly new, but initial defects are visible. The total number of amenities is limited and seems unfinished. Fencing the grounds would be welcome because of the visiting (and pooping) neighborhood dogs.

Excellent standard campsite. Nice sanitary facilities. Negative points: there is a nice new toilet dump, but there is no separate water hose. So you have to flush your toilet at the tap for drinking water. On Sunday there was no staff. There was no cleaning and no toilet paper replenished. The trout restaurant was fine.
