Camp Dunav

We are giving the full 5 stars again, as the sanitary facilities fully meet 5* standards. The manager was also very accommodating and clear with his explanations; there could be a few more power outlets, though with 30 meters we managed to get there. We couldn't park just anywhere because, yes indeed, the NKC arrived with 18 couples and we had asked a recruiter. Still, there was plenty of room for the others, and we were able to cycle beautifully to and through Bucharest—another great experience—and we are continuing to follow the Danube.

We stayed here on September 1st/2nd and it was quite a nice campsite with new sanitary facilities that were cleaned very often 👍 Friendly owner who helped us with cash RSD for the gas station where you couldn't pay by card! Taking the bus to Belgrade was easy, but the city is a bit grey and drab with a lot of concrete. There are some beautiful buildings too, but nothing spectacular!

Campsite with a view of the Danube. Sanitary facilities completely renovated and in excellent condition. Belgrade is 13 km away; it is easily accessible by bike, although the first part is via a two-lane road, after which it continues via a cycle path along the Danube.
