Camping Smlednik

We paid €75 (!) for a campervan and 4 people. You don't pay for the pitch itself, but €18 per person, including electricity. More than at the seaside. Far too expensive for this campsite. The campsite is quiet, the restaurant was good, the food was delicious, it wasn't expensive, there was a beautiful view, and the staff were friendly.

We stayed here for one night while traveling through. A bit of an old campsite with outdated bathroom facilities. Plenty of shady spots! A beautiful river with a small beach. The restaurant's service was gruff, very curt. There wasn't much to choose from: meat or fish, and then a dish was slammed down on the table. Along with the lukewarm wine, it was complete. The price was also reasonable. The shower was nice and warm, that's true, and the pitches are spacious. We don't see any reason to stay here any longer.

What we really like here is the space and silence that emanates from this campsite. All facilities are there and they are ok, but not the big luxury. Hence the 3 stars. There is a restaurant, but we did not eat there. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. From what I have seen and what I read here in the other reviews, the kitchen fits perfectly with the rest of the campsite. Simple, easy, simple, but honest!
