Camping Sunrise Hill

Sunrise Hill offers a peaceful escape with stunning views. It's a great spot for nature lovers. However, the experience has some significant drawbacks. The 10 a.m. checkout is extremely early. The campsite doesn't accept card payments, and the closest ATM is very far away. Furthermore, there are no facilities for campers to dispose of grey water or chemical toilet waste. While beautiful, the campsite needs major improvements to its facilities.

Very nice and quiet but basic camping, all facilities are there, even a kitchen that you can use. When you travel with a tent this is very handy. Sanitary facilities were clean but in fact not sufficient for the number of places.

A very nice small campsite, with a great view of the mountains. The outdoor shower is wonderful. The terrain is not flat, but with blocks you can go a long way. 20 minutes by bus to the Postojna caves, bus stop across the road. We found it perfect and enjoyed it here. For a large camper and 3 people (including 1 child), we paid 40 euros p/n.
