Great spot. Parking next to the main road. You're only allowed to park at the top and not drive down to the lakeshore. This is also only possible with a campervan.

Since the only campsite nearby was fully booked, I spontaneously parked here for one night. The view was fantastic, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the quiet, peaceful setting with two or three other campers made me feel safe even as a solo traveler.

Free place where you can spend the night. Great view over the reservoir. At the top a lot of wind. No facilities. Quiet at night. Nice base for the Caminito del Rey.
