Camping Batán de las Monjas

super camping in nature. this is what camping should be. Large places on grass. Lovely warm shower with solar boiler. lots of shade and sun. Everything is completely in order. Beautiful surroundings with a Via Verde cycle path 50 m from the campsite.

Site in a very beautiful setting with good hiking & biking opportunities. Reached via a ford and a long dirt road leading to a steep and winding entrance. Long campers will not manage it. Sites with electric are generally too sloping to be used. We used 35m of extension cable to stretch across the road. Low season tariff for camper and 2 people is 16 euro's plus 5 euro's for electric. 3.50 extra per child and 1 euro for a dog. Not great value.

Very nice campsite with beautiful spacious pitches on a small river. Recommended if you are passing through. Very friendly reception who is very helpful.
