Camping El Roble

I drove quite a distance to stay at a campsite for a few days. On the reception door, there's a piece of paper saying "Closed until March 4th." The ACSI website indicates it's open all year round. The campsite is located 3.5 km from the town and along a main road, making it difficult to cycle and too far to walk.

I don't understand why others consider this a good campsite. It's a mess and not at all clean. It's covered in fallen leaves. You have absolutely no privacy because there's no separation. There's a swimming pool, but it can't be used. They've been working on it for a year. It's a mess. I do have to say, though, that the restrooms were very clean and attractive, hence the second star.

Excellent campsite with good sanitary facilities and restaurant. Friendly and helpful reception. Terrain somewhat dusty and somewhat messy due to construction work. Via Verde 10 km by bike over hilly terrain.
