Camping Covadonga

Beautifully situated in the countryside, friendly reception and service in the restaurant. Clean restrooms. We would come back anytime.

By Dutch standards, the campsite is full and crowded. The pitches are small and the paths narrow. (We've encountered this before in this region.) The sanitary facilities are clean, but many of the toilet doors lack locks. Of the eight dishwashing areas, only three have hot water. The sinks are so low that a hernia is included in the price. But hey... if you want to go to the lakes, this is pretty much the only option.

Theft at the campsite. My sunglasses disappeared at reception, and a new battery was stolen near the showers. No cameras, no security, no help. The owner denies any responsibility and says safety is my own problem. Unsafe, poor service. Absolutely not recommended.
