Camping El Bierzo

The campsite is seriously dated, but it functions well and everything is kept clean. Cycling to Ponferrada is about 15 km one way. The cycle route is flat and safe, but not spectacular.

Lovely campsite. Yes it’s a little dated and there is no WiFi. But you can stay on green grass, under shady trees and there’s a river you can cool off in (even with a sandy beach!) The lady in reception is very nice and friendly. Very peaceful night. Sanitary facilities were dated but spotless. €23.90 with electric. We would stay again.

Large camping field where you can choose your own spot. A small river runs alongside the campsite. Sanitary facilities are dated but clean. No dogs! Price for a campervan, 2 people, electricity, and tourist tax: €24. Not busy in early August.
