Parking Lago De Carucedo

We were allowed to park under the trees. Follow the route and take small dirt roads to the canoe rental. At the top of the mountain, it still smelled too much from the 2025 forest fires.

we followed sat nav yo coordinates to arrive at lake side . access was over a ditch so you need good ground clearance .many did but we did not want to risk it so moved on. have been told easier access on other side but not at these coordinates.

great place to go for a swim after the walk in Las Medulas and stay the night. The village is nothing. The parking lot is busy during the day with guests coming for a swim. Now there are about 20 campers mainly Spanish.
