Camping el Cares

Beautiful campsite at an altitude of about 1100 meters, lovely view. You can go hiking well from the campsite. We also wanted to go to the Cares Route. This is possible with your own car, but is not recommended with a camper (too narrow road). We had a delicious meal in the restaurant, nice little shop with groceries as well as some fresh produce and trendy clothing. Delicious bread in the morning and a nice atmosphere.

A lovely mountain campsite run by enthusiastic young people. Not completely manicured, but a bit laid-back. Delicious bread, a small shop, good advice for hikes, canyoning, etc. Very helpful. The food in the restaurant is cooked with love. The campsite is located 4 km from the village; the last stretch is quite challenging for longer campers.

The previous review is incorrect. There are no renovations, just occasional mowing or pruning. Our camper is 7 meters, no problem at all. Phenomenal view, beautiful spots, not confined to boxes. A group of young nature lovers run the place and are exceptionally friendly. A very good restaurant, delicious warm bread from the local baker. Beautiful walks in the area. In short, amazing.
