Parking de Santo Domingo de Silos

Large concrete parking lot with no shade and no facilities, except for waste containers. However, a beautiful view of the hills and the village. No indication whatsoever that this is an official motorhome site, but we were parked there with several other motorhomes. Felt safe. Beautiful village with (one of) the most beautiful Romanesque cloisters in Spain (limited opening hours). No bakery or supermarket. There are, however, various (hotel) restaurants.

Great spot for a walk to the Yecla Gorge. Google Maps directs you via the BU910; don't do that, as there is a hiking trail from the village to the gorge. Beautiful gorge with many vultures. The filming location of The Good, the Bad and then Ugly can be reached via a gravel path. It is a long climb by bike, even with an e-bike. They are currently working on the road and it is closed to car traffic.
