Camping Fuente de la Teja

Camping isn't exactly inviting. The cost for one person without electricity with a campervan is €20. The CP on the Douro River opposite the monastery lacks the facilities but is much nicer, and all for €0. Sanitary facilities at the campsite are reasonable. The swimming pool looked green, but I couldn't resist. No, not again. Cycling to the city is a challenge going against the flow of traffic on the highway.

What an expensive campsite! Never paid so much in the interior of Spain. € 37.00 Camper € 12.00 Two people € 18.00 Electricity € 7.00 Nice warm water for showering, but lukewarm water for washing up. Lots of birds to photograph: storks, vultures and kites. Still, we won't be coming back! Too expensive!

This campsite is dewoon OPEN. Excellent campsite, friendly lady who does her best to speak good English! everything neat and clean. Pleasantly chattering storks nearby. No trouble from the highway. And close to the city. we paid €28 with 2 people and camper without electricity and €3 for the washing machine Ate deliciously in the cafeteria, affordable and good and wine and beer are not expensive either.
