Camping Illa Mateua

nice campsite near a very nice bay. places by Spanish standards. quite sandy. there are many regular Spanish guests, during the week it is quiet, during the weekend it is lively. sanitary facilities are cleaned often. friendly people at reception. nice swimming pool in the upper part, we did not use the other swimming pool. We stayed 7 nights with ACSI rate for €197 (2 people). there are a number of nice bike rides in the area.

excellent campsite, large pitches for 29 euros per night including electricity, (this is without the acsi discount) everything perfectly clean, 2 beautiful swimming pools, within walking distance of the beach. we booked 5 nights but booked an additional 3 nights. during this period the ruta d anjovis in l escala is wonderful to experience.

Great campsite, we were actually going to stay 2 nights, but ended up staying 4. Great places, you can choose yourself, friendly staff. Within walking distance to the beach with cozy restaurants. Nice swimming pool, but it's a shame that swimming is no longer allowed at the rocky beach. L'escala itself is 3 km from the campsite, we thought it was fine to walk. But there is also a tourist train that runs to the center from the campsite. Good for cycling
