We stayed 5 nights with Joop and Yvonne. What nice people they are. Montanchez is a nice mountain village with a small supermarket and some nice eateries. We did everything on foot and it was doable. The lookout post at the castle is also beautiful. Extremadura is a quiet province, the size of the Netherlands in the vast expanse of Spain. Joop and Yvonne, Thank you for your hospitality. lees meerIn May '24 we spent a week at Camperstop Alegria for the second year in a row, which is simply experienced as 'being at home'. Nothing has been lost in quality, it only gets better and as a reward it is the BEST camper place for the 2nd time. Worth mentioning is the involvement of Joop & Yvon when campers encounter unexpected problems and can count on help from Joop and Yvon. We'll be there again.
