Camping Izarpe

We were actually only going to stay here for one night, but ended up staying three. It is a very nice campsite with beautiful and clean sanitary facilities and a very nice swimming pool. And friendly staff. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

Courteous reception, easy booking via Campercontact. Good cycling distance to Pamplona, but electric assistance is highly recommended. Pamplona is a beautiful city. Cons: upstairs sanitary block substandard and dirty, pitches too bare and too busy with Spaniards on weekends. Nice supermarket on the campsite. Three stars due to price/quality ratio.

All the good things have been written, so now there are only points for improvement: the trees on the camper pitches are still small and provide little shade. The sanitary building for the upper terraces is simply very poor and dirty. Broken toilet seat and the whole building vibrates, far too few toilets, showers, and shaving stations. But! The sanitary building downstairs (a bit of a walk, steep) is perfect. This otherwise very nice campsite needs to implement that renovation in the old sanitary facilities.
