Ystad Camping

Noise disturbance at night is negligible, despite the railway and road being nearby. The sanitary building near the reception is beautiful. It consists of multiple bathrooms including a toilet. Shower costs 5 SEK per 3m². It is cleaned several times a day. Excellent cycle path next to the road for cycling to Ystad. Price is SEK 660 excluding electricity, so quite steep. Perhaps something could be done during Midsummer, as the campsite was completely full.

Large site with spacious pitches. However, on all pitches you can hear the train/railway line running 5 meters from the campsite. On the other side runs the main street, which is not exactly quiet either. So, during the day this is a nuisance. In the evening it is quite bearable, although the train continues to run at night as well. The toilet blocks are a bit dated but clean. In our area there is a large toilet block, but with only one shower per gender. So, not enough.

We've been here for two days now. We like it. The pitches are large and partly under trees. The sanitary facilities are clean. The campsite is full, though. It costs 425 SEK, including electricity, fresh water, grey water disposal, and chemo. The toilet is also available. Showers cost 5 SEK. Friendly staff. Close to the beach. The only downside: you can hear the street and train.
