Ystad Camping

Beautiful campsite, spacious pitches and really nice sanitary facilities, nice area for cooking, clean showers. Self-service check-in was fine. The motorway and busy road running alongside the campsite make it 3 stars for us. If you wouldn't mind this, purely personally, I would give it 5 stars.

Beautiful, spacious pitches among the pines and close to the beach. The reception was already closed upon arrival and unreachable by phone. We were lucky to find a staff member who gave us an explanation. Sanitary facilities and amenities were in order, but I find 50 SEK for emptying grey water / refilling drinking water excessive. Bus stop to Ystad center right outside the door (or otherwise a good half-hour walk).

Noise disturbance at night is negligible, despite the railway and road being nearby. The sanitary building near the reception is beautiful. It consists of multiple bathrooms including a toilet. Shower costs 5 SEK per 3m². It is cleaned several times a day. Excellent cycle path next to the road for cycling to Ystad. Price is SEK 660 excluding electricity, so quite steep. Perhaps something could be done during Midsummer, as the campsite was completely full.
