Bisonfarmen i Gate

Lovely spot with a view of the lake and bison. There are 20 pitches. Nice new restrooms. Small shop selling their own meat. Restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food. Bison meat is very tasty☺️. You can make a reservation and choose your own spot upon arrival. Very relaxing.

Upon arrival we discovered that we could only reserve with Swish or credit card. Fortunately, after a phone call with the owner, we were able to pay by card in the shop after he arrived. Top location with friendly reception. Nice and beautiful clean sanitary facilities with shower and washing-up area with hot water. The view is absolutely top with various meadows full of bison. Unfortunately, the wifi is not the best quality. Worth repeating. Top.

what a nice surprise! a very well maintained, beautiful farm. very friendly owners. beautiful panoramic view of the lake from a height. nice with all those (Belgian!) bisons! spacious places, electricity connection: in other words a perfect camper place.. unfortunately the restaurant is closed from the end of August: so no bison meat...:-)
