Camping Gletscherdorf

A really nice campsite. Only the sanitary facilities could use a bit more attention. The toilets were clogged and unkempt. The receptionist was very friendly. Since we checked in late, we were allowed to check out an hour later. We wanted to explore more of Switzerland, so we didn't stay long.

Busy campsite, the site is nothing more than a large parking lot, with marked pitches. Electricity is available. The sanitary facilities are simply poor: far too few for the number of guests. There's mold in the showers. There's no paper everywhere. The site is anonymous and impersonal. The location is excellent relative to the village, with a fantastic view of the mountains. A 20-minute walk to the train station.

Uncomplicated booking and check-in. The location is quite close to Grindelwald, making it perfect for activities here. The pitches are gravel, with more of a parking lot feel on the right side. Electricity, water, and sewage disposal are available on site, as well as cassette disposal. The sanitary facilities are somewhat undersized and showing their age, but they appeared clean. The view from the site is spectacular. A road divides the site.
