We stayed two nights at the Aarenhof. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the farm shop has excellent cheese and delicious ice cream. The Aare River is very quiet, so you can still swim. It's also very peaceful. We'll be back.

A lovely farm shop with lots of products: Alpine cheese, sliced cheese, white mould cheese, Muschtli, raclette, fondue and dried beef sausage from the Simmental 100% beef burger Grilled sausages Broad bean burger from the Emmental Risotto with various ingredients Farm ice cream The farmer's wife bakes bread and plaited bread to order Homemade jams and jellies, quince syrup and Bretzeli, which is a sweet pastry Aloe Vera products from Forever

The Aarenhof is located directly on the banks of the Aare - the city of Biel is nearby - it is a partner farm of Landcamp (pre-registration with the farmer is mandatory)
