Camping Hopfreben

A beautifully situated little campsite! Since it was supposed to make way for a nature conservation project, the new, very friendly operators can continue to run the site for another three years! Therefore, no further investment in new sanitary facilities will be made. But the charm of the site and the motivated team make up for it! It's definitely worth stopping there!

Positive: Nicely situated, close to the lake. Less positive: - Owner is very grumpy. - Expensive, 53,- for 1 night and then also a coin machine for a bowl of lukewarm dishwater is really not of this time. - We had no electricity. According to the sour lady that was standard in the price. Later it turned out that this was 5,- separately on the bill. Tip: park for 5,- diagonally opposite the campsite, and then walk to the (free) beach.

What a wonderful place right on the fantastic lake. Even if you arrive so late, the owner will find a spot for you. That is an advantage for some and a disadvantage for others. Toilet building outdated but very neat and clean. We stayed there for 2 nights and loved it. We paid €100 (cash 😉). Nice starting point for cycling
