Camping Wagenhausen

We had a pitch with a view of the Rhine (there are only a few of those) – very picturesque! Small campsite, very friendly reception, sanitary facilities on par with a hotel. Excellent!

Very quiet campsite in autumn. Well and modernly furnished! 20 minutes walk to Stein am Rhein. At the end of September the bathing temperature is still 19 degrees. Swimming pool available at 24 degrees. Small shop available. Everything was great!

Positive: - very friendly - very good sanitary facilities - good starting point for bike tours to Lake Constance and the Rhine Falls not so good - pitch is actually just a meadow, separated from the campsite, a bit chaotic and sometimes too crowded. Dogs run around. - restaurant very bad, quality of dishes similar to motorway service station - lots of mosquitoes (not the operators' fault) - lots of traffic noise!
