Camping Bellinzona

Excellent transit campsite. The restrooms are well-maintained. Quiet at night. Plenty of room for the kids to play a bit at the beginning before moving on.

Great campsite to stay overnight on the way to Italy! The campsite is located next to a river and close to the city, within cycling distance. The sanitary facilities are a bit old but clean! The showers are great. We were kindly welcomed at the reception. The campsite uses Swiss prices - we knew this in advance. We were assigned a spacious place.

Actually it was already full but we were allowed to stand on the grass in front of a caravan where the owners would not return this season. A lovely sunny spot. 10 minutes by bike to the beautiful centre of Bellinzona with its beautiful castle. In the evening we had a nice meal in the restaurant on the campsite. Good food and pleasant service. Furthermore, excellent and clean sanitary facilities with emphasis on the lovely warm shower.
