If you don't want to pay 40 CHF per hour, drive past the large parking lots and onto Lauferstrasse. You can park there next to the road for 2 CHF per hour. 1 hour is long enough to view the waterfall. But together with a boat trip it may be too short. Pay with coins in a machine.
Very good, clean place for overnight stay. And of course the Rhine Falls are worth seeing.
Parked in the main car park P1, I had not seen the camper car park located further because I arrived in the dark, no worries (end of November), free from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.
