Stopped overnight at Cromford Mill car park as no height restriction - cost £9 for overnight parking would highly recommend trip to charity ran visitor centre- very impressive and lots of family friendly events. Beautiful surroundings, friendly and welcoming staff, Cromford village and nearby Matlock offer plenty of local attractions, pubs and restaurants. Several walking trails from Cromford including flat accessible canal walk.

beautiful place but no over night stays with campers/ motor homes due to 2 metre height barrier :-( top walks and biking on canal.
