Lee Valley Leisure Centre Camping & Caravan Park

Stayed 4 nights at the campsite. Everything works. No coins for the excellent showers. Cleaning could be done twice a day for the size of the campsite. For a city campsite with 4 airports incredibly quiet during the night. Multiple options to go to the centre of London. All options quickly at least 1 hour. By bike you can go about 10km along the river and park. Absolute recommendation as far as I'm concerned.

9_03_2025 Sunday. Arrived this afternoon at an almost empty campsite. The woman behind the counter asks if I have a reservation. I say no. The woman answers: Then you are not allowed to stay overnight at the campsite with your camper. You must book at least 3 days via the Internet. I say: You can put me on the campsite via your system. This was not possible. Pollicy, Pollicy, Pollicy, from the campsite, this is not possible. I left angry!!!

In itself a great campsite. Places are large with a paved piece of ground. Sanitary needs an update. And a bit more cleaning. Wifi is for home, garden, kitchen use, no watching TV. Center is easy to reach first by bus (every 10 minutes) and then by metro to the center.
