Bearsted Caravanclub Site

Honestly, I can't explain the negative comments. The pitches are large and the owners are incredibly friendly. They even gave us a shady spot in 30-degree heat after we mentioned we were traveling with dogs. Even though we weren't members of the club, we received a super warm welcome and were even allowed to stay longer than check-out time the next day because we were driving to the ferry from there. 👍🏻🙂

great place to stay overnight before or after a crossing to Calais, friendly welcome and if you are late (after 8 pm) you can stay on a special late night arrival spot. Shower facilities are a bit dated but an excellent camper service place; just a grate in the way on the campsite, more campsites should do that!

Reality nice manicured campsite, close to the motorway so an easy stop off for us on the way to the Channel Tunnel. Friendly welcome with a little shop with essentials in it. Facilities are clean and good. Shower/toilet block is closed for cleaning every morning but you just have to work around it. We had a serviced hardstanding, which was perfect to do some emptying and cleaning after some wild camping. Would definitely recommend this site!
