beautiful campsite, friendly welcome. Walking through the gate through the woods to Porlock. The climb back is a thing to do. Personally, I found Porlock a bit disappointing compared to Lynmouth. We went there the next day. But the campsite was a perfect stopover!
Very well maintained campsite surrounded by beautiful nature. Via the forest path at the top of the campsite you can walk to Porlock (sloping!). From Porlock you can walk a loop through forest, field and beach to Porlock Weir (about 10 km, tough slopes). Super friendly welcome, good sanitary facilities, shop and bread service. Possibility of pony rides for children (£25-30).
