Naburn Lock Caravan Park

The guide price is incorrect. We pitched a small campervan on the grassy field without electricity and paid £38 for one night. The showers are very luxurious and clean.

we were here on April 30. The campsite was not yet open, it opened on May 1. tip from the managers, Amanda and George, cycling to York on an old railway line. Cycle 12 km without traffic and arrive in the heart of York. follow the signs "Trans Pannine trial". Unfortunately the toilet building is not yet finished with another 5 stars.

We were on the wet grass with the camper. So slip risk is high. Use slip strips. but otherwise great camping. Bus stop right in front of the campsite. We also walked to York on foot. Nice walk about 6 km and came back by bus.
