Westgate Carr Farm

After a long search for a campsite that was not full we arrived at this campsite. Despite the fact that we had the "spare" spot that was not so nice according to owner Dave we were nice and free. The campsite is neat and tidy, £ 23 for the night, electricity charged per KWh and a £ 1 for the shower (7 minutes) is the icing on the cake. Such a friendly welcome with nice chat makes it for us that we will definitely go back!

Very helpful, friendly owners who are motorhomers themselves so know exactly what is required on a site. Every detail you can think of has been catered for. They have put their heart and soul into this business and it really shows. Great walks in beautiful settings, chance to get up close to alpacas , sheep, chickens and shire horses. Best site we have had the pleasure of using over the past ten years of motorhoming.

Rarely have I seen such a lovingly designed place. Clean, well maintained, very friendly manager, excellent information material. The access road to the place doesn't give you any idea what to expect. We would come back again and again.
