Reviews for Rose & Crown
Aug 2026
Dirty sanitary facilities and we didn't dare eat in the pub either. Friendly staff though, and a great place with good Wi-Fi.

It is a typical English campsite. We are here now during the high season; it is busy, noisy, and there is a lot of drinking. There is a nice little swimming pool for the children, a fun playground, and plenty of space to play football or something. There is also a pub. Even though it was very busy and noisy in the evening, it quieted down quickly. Contrary to our expectations, it was really quiet from 10:00 PM onwards. The toilets are not fantastic, and you have to pay for the shower with coins.
