After consultation we were allowed to stay here for a night, great place to walk the Catbells from here, beautiful walk. ate in pub, great!

Just phoned this place and sadly they have stopped letting campervans park overnight as they no longer have enough space.

Great location for Catbells and The Newlands valley. Free to park without electric hook up or £5.00 with electric, 2 available spaces with a maximum stay of two nights, you are expected to dine in the pub which was fine great pub food and decent beer, be aware of narrow access roads with passing places from portinscale or braithwaite both single track but only last about 1.5 miles.

this is a very popular country pub in Newlands Valley - with only 2 parking spaces for campers - so it is essential to book by phone - drinking in the pub is mandatory to stay overnight - the roads that lead to it are fairly narrow but to do, except for size campers - recommended route is via Portinscale.
