April 2023 July 2019 So close to the A1 and yet so quiet. For twice the price of a good campsite, we have been wonderfully free here, including an excellent meal that is really more than just pub food. But for less you also eat well here. Recommended!

Telephoned before arrival to check. Made to feel very welcome. Ideal overnight stop for travelling to/from Scotland, just 5 minutes off the A1, but well sheltered from any traffic noise. Will stay again.
