Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park

Well organised camping site and friendly and helpful staff. Halfway the camping site there is a modern sanitary building with lots of clean showers and toilets. We pitched our van on the field at the back and enjoyed the view over the hills. A great starting point for hikes or bycicle rides or horse riding. A bus stop just up the road to go to Ventnor, Shankhill, Godshill or other places. The cafe at the Donkey Sanctuary is round the corner.

Great facilities, very clean and tidy with grass mown regularly so no need for wellies unless very wet. Modern bathroom facilities, hot showers and even running hot water at washing up sinks. Bus stop just outside park and great countryside walks nearby. Us and the dogs had a great time, even with blustery weather! We went at the end of September and the park was almost empty - perfect for us!
