We're National Trust members, so we can stay here for one night for free. The blue route is about 3 km and breathtakingly beautiful. There's another National Trust car park 6 km further on, and you can also stay there for one night. So, in our case, that's also free. There are no facilities, not even any litter bins, but there are reasonably clean toilets. According to the ranger, black and gray water can be emptied for 5 pounds at the campsite in Braemar.

Nice spot on the parking lot at Lynn of Dee 12 km from Braemar where all kinds of amenities are. During the day there is someone from the National Trust. You can pay with bank card or cash; if you stay overnight you have to pay 2x the daily rate of 6 pounds.

fantastic place. the blue walking route 45 minutes is beautiful. formally, staying overnight means parking for two days. costs 5 euros per day. coins are needed because there are 2 columns where you can pay by card, but we did not have a network. By the way, we don't talk on the phone either ;-). nice rummy cup. The Dixie's are spotless.
