Kinloch Campsite

Beautiful campsite; we got a spot without a reservation, which is quite unusual for Skye. Unfortunately, our spot was slanted, but there are plenty of straight ones with a beautiful view over the bay. Clean and extensive sanitary facilities and other amenities. 32 euros without electricity.

Beautiful spot by the water. We arrived when the reception was already closed. But they have come up with a clever system. The seats that can be occupied are listed on a whiteboard; you then have to wipe away the number you have taken. You could then pay the next day. The facilities were a bit old-fashioned. Close to Dunvegan Castle.

nice views, okay facilities (showers, toilets, electric etc) don't just pick a spot & drive on if arriving late as the reception open late (we arrived at 9:30pm) not worth £39.50 though.
