Inderdaad, 38 Pound is veel geld voor een parkeerplaats. Maar de locatie is geweldig, midden in een prachtig natuurgebied met veel wandel en mountainbikeroutes, prachtige meren en voor de verder rest niets als alleen stilte. Heerlijk genoten van deze plek met onze hond. Zeker een aanrader als je over de 38 pond heen kunt stappen 😉. 

Indeed, £38 is a lot of money for a parking space. But the location is fantastic, in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve with many hiking and mountain bike trails, beautiful lakes, and otherwise nothing but peace and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed this place with our dog. Definitely recommended if you can walk over the £38 😉.

The overnight stay now costs £38! No facilities, just a simple parking space.

Heel vriendelijke beheerder, betaald en de parkeerplaats opgereden, echter was niet wat wij verwachten, zo enorm veel vliegen, het was niet te doen! Beheerder gaf ook aan beter niet naar het meer te lopen vanwege de midges., Met de camper rechtsomkeer, wel een refund gekregen. Plek viel ons tegen maar kan mij voorstellen dat als je hier enige bent buiten zomerseizoen dat het wel leuk/mooi kan zijn, helaas vandaag voor ons niet het geval. 

Very friendly manager, paid and entered the parking lot, but it was not what we expected, so many flies, it was impossible! The manager also indicated that it is better not to walk to the lake because of the midges. With the camper turning around, I did get a refund. Place was disappointing but I can imagine that if you are only here outside the summer season it can be nice / beautiful, unfortunately not the case for us today.
