The Old Stables Inn

We called beforehand, without answer, but after insisting, we picked up. You have to reserve a table by explaining that you are in a camper van. The pitches are next to each other. The train passes nearby, but that's not too disturbing. The quality of the food at the tavern is very good, but only classics on the menu. Besides the tavern/pub, there isn't much to do in the village. Very good for spending the night.

Called in advance(advisable) and received warm and friendly welcome. Nice atmosphere with excellent staff serving quality food and drink. Small carpark at rear with toilet in quiet surroundings with walks offsite. Superb stopover being very close to motorway but little noise from it. Will highly recommend.

Warm welcome. If you want to be sure of a spot, you can make a reservation. The food in the pub is good. You can tap water. Very nice place for 1 night.
